The DAM Preis by Deutsches Architekturmuseum is the annual prize for the best architecture in and from Germany. Casa Hilo has been nominated for this year's prize and is now in the shortlist selection.

AA Visiting School Palimpsest Barragan
Ingrid Moye and Christoph Zeller have been announced as programme heads leading the AA Visiting School in Colima Beach, Mexico. The summer school poses a once in a lifetime opportunity to engage eye to eye with a still unknown architectural masterpiece of 20th century modernism by the Mexican architect Luis Barragán, set amidst a paradisiac jungle on the Pacific coast. Our modular social housing project Casa Hilo has been awarded the Premio Panamericano 'arquitectura minima' at the Panamerican Architecture Biennial of Quito BAQ 2020.

The new hotel project for Grupo Habita in Mérida, Yucatan is now under construction. Zeller & Moye are responsible for the architecture and the interior design. Scheduled to open in 2022.

What are spatial and architectural ideas, visions, and aspirations for the city? How can Berlin remain affordable? How can high expectations for the social and sustainable development of the city be met? At the DAZ / Deutsches Architektur Zentrum Berlin, 22 Jan 2020 at 7pm.
By initiative of Storefront for Art and Architecture in New York and DAZ a series of architects and other protagonists of the city were invited to write a letter to the Mayor of Berlin with their thoughts on challenges and opportunities for the future development of the city of Berlin. Zeller & Moye’s letter can be read at the exhibition at DAZ / Deutsches Architektur Zentrum Berlin between 16 Nov 2019 and 2 Feb 2020.

Zeller & Moye at Porto Academy
Zeller & Moye together with Sam Chermayeff lead this year’s program entitled ‘non-objects’ at the Porto Academy in Mexico City. The summer school ‘Visiting Barragán’ takes place inside of Barragán’s distinguished Casa Gilardi. ‘Non-objects’ is a series of free-standing furniture. Each piece establishes a specific relation with Barragán’s oevre, whilst introducing new functions to the house. 31 May to 7 June 2019.
Haus Köris residence under construction
The private home is taking shape inside a pine forest south of Berlin. The building is entirely made of wood and wood fiber components making it a sustainable structure. Completion scheduled for late summer 2019.

Mine Mirror website now online
As part of our Mine Mirror project for the New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, USA the project website is now online collecting data files by students that will eventually be transformed into a mirror wall inside the University’s Computer Laboratory.
Construction is progressing of the one family housing typology for rural areas, commissioned by the social housing institution INFONAVIT in Apan, Hidalgo, Mexico.

Opening of exhibition ‘Neue Stoffe/New Stuff’ in St.Gallen, Switzerland
Zeller & Moye have been commissioned by the Textilmuseum in St. Gallen, Switzerland to design the exhibition ‘Neue Stoffe/New Stuff’ showcasing the history and latest developments of technical textiles. Utilising a new textile-concrete hybrid as the base material for the scenography, the exhibition will open on 23 August 2017 and run until April 2018.

Ingrid Moye has been invited to talk about creative bonds in architecture at the MXLA Creative Economy Forum at the REDCAT California Institute of the Arts in Los Angeles on 26 June at 3pm.
popo transforms a common and low-cost industrial building block to a new multi-purpose object by applying a specular glazing. Assembled to a topographic landscape the sculpture recreates Mexico’s famous volcano Popocatépetl as a walkable 1:350 scale model. Popo is conceptualised by Zeller & Moye for Ideal Estándar, a social franchise model of utilitarian artwork production, developed by the gallery Arena México Arte Contemporáneo. Show open 6 to 9 Oct 2016 at Museo Tamayo as part of Design Week Mexico.
Honourable Mention Award in international competition
Our proposal for the new National Museum Complex of South Korea has been awarded a Honourable Mention in an international competition. The design includes a renaturalised parkscape with separated vehicular traffic and 11 elevated museum buildings overlooking the river and its biotope landscape.
The new Tate Modern is now completed and open to the public. The extension building of 23,500 m2 offers a variety of new exhibition spaces; learning areas; restaurants and retail. Christoph Zeller has been the responsible project manager and design leader for this project from 2005 to 2012, Ingrid Moye was leading the interior design from 2009 to 2012, for Herzog & de Meuron.
Urban Laboratory at Casa Vecina in Mexico City
Zeller & Moye runs a participatory workshop on impromtu installations in the public domain of Mexico City. The four sessions will analyse the public space of the historic centre of Mexico City; indentify points of intervention and correct deficient conditions by the implementation of self-made objects with supplementary functions for the city dweller. Award ceremony for ‘Flower Terraces‘ in Beijing, China
Zeller & Moye received the award as winner of the residential category within the international competition Molewa for 'Flower Terraces' in a ceremony held in Beijing, China on 22 & 23 July 2015. The award was handed over by Esa Mohammed, chairman of the International Union of Architects.

Our competition entry 'Flower Terraces' wins the international architectural competition Molewa in China in the residential category. The scheme is scheduled to be realised as a central piece for the further development of the circular city of Ruichang in 2016.
After the completion of the Tate Tanks in 2012, phase 2 of the ‘Tate Modern Project' is growing into London‘s sky at the backside of the existing Tate Modern. Christoph Zeller has been the responsible project manager and design leader for this project from 2005 to 2012 for Herzog & de Meuron. Opening scheduled for 2016.
